Ubuntify Launches a New Era of Digital Connection for Africans and the African Diaspora NASHVILLE, Tenn. A new digital platform designed specifically for Africans and the African diaspora has officially launched, aiming to transform how communities connect, do business, and support one another around the world. Named Ubuntify, the platform combines a business directory, marketplace, jobs board, rental listings, professional networking, events, and a community feed into one integrated ecosystem. Unlike traditional directories or online marketplaces, Ubuntify emphasizes ongoing relationships and community engagement rather than one-time transactions. "People don't just want to find a business," said founder Behabtu Woldesenbet. "They want to know who is behind it, follow their journey, ask questions, support local entrepreneurs, and become part of a community. That's the gap Ubuntify was built to fill." Inspired by the African philosophy of Ubuntu "I am because we are" the platform encourages collaboration between businesses, professionals, organizations, and community members across Africa and the diaspora. Users can discover African owned businesses, buy and sell products, search for jobs, find rental housing, promote community events, connect with professionals, and participate in discussions where they can ask questions, share announcements, celebrate achievements, and build meaningful relationships. The platform also introduces what its creators describe as a social marketplace, blending commerce with community. Businesses are no longer limited to static listings; they can build followers, publish updates, share their stories, and engage directly with customers. The goal is to replace anonymous transactions with trusted, long-term relationships. "This isn't just another website," Woldesenbet said. "It's a platform where our communities can discover opportunities, support each other, and grow together." The web version of Ubuntify is now available to the public, while Android and iPhone applications are currently in development and expected to launch in the near future. Community members are encouraged to create a free account, add their business or organization, explore the platform, and help shape its future by providing feedback. As digital communities continue to redefine how people connect worldwide, Ubuntify hopes to become a central hub where Africans and the African diaspora can strengthen economic opportunities, expand professional networks, and preserve the spirit of community across borders. Ubuntify is now live at: www.ubuntify.com
