Made It in America – Habesha Edition When many of us came to America or Canada, we arrived with little more than hope, determination, and a dream for a better future. Some worked multiple jobs. Some started over from nothing. Some learned a new language while raising a family. Some took risks to start a business. Others pursued education, built careers, and dedicated themselves to serving our community. Today, across North America, Ethiopians and Eritreans are building businesses, leading organizations, creating jobs, educating families, serving as healthcare professionals, engineers, entrepreneurs, financial educators, artists, community leaders, and much more. Yet many of these inspiring stories remain untold. At Habesha In America, we believe our community deserves more than a place to advertise. We deserve a platform that celebrates our achievements, preserves our stories, and inspires the next generation. That is why we are launching a new initiative: Made It in America – Habesha Edition We want to highlight the people behind the success. Not just what they have built, but how they built it. We want to hear about: • The struggles they overcame. • The sacrifices they made. • The lessons they learned. • The people they helped along the way. • The legacy they are creating for future generations. Whether you are a business owner, professional, educator, community leader, nonprofit founder, artist, or entrepreneur, your journey could inspire someone who is just beginning theirs. Through this series, Habesha In America will feature selected individuals across our website, Facebook page, and social media platforms. Our goal is simple: Celebrate Success. Inspire Others. Build a Stronger Habesha Community. If you know someone whose story deserves to be told or if you would like to share your own we would love to hear from you. Together, let's preserve the stories that will inspire generations to come. Connect. Support. Grow Together. Habesha In America The Digital Home of Ethiopians & Eritreans Across North America
